Resident Leads Effort To To Bring Lacrosse To Innner City

Jonathon Watras of Garden City leads young Morgan Stanley group in an effort to bring lacrosse to the inner city. These young people have established a team in Rockaway,Queens for economically challenged 12 year olds. They will be playing in the Hofstra Lacrosse Tournament, July 21 at Hofstra. They are the Rockaway Sports Project.

They are in need of all lacrosse equipment. Jonathon is asking Garden City residents to drop off their excess equipment of every type at his house 7/21, 116 Stewart Ave, Garden City.
