GCAA Spring Season Baseball

The spring 2007 GCAA baseball season for the junior league (13 - 15 year old) was exciting, challenging and most important, lots of fun for all. The GCAA and managers did a great job in the draft by selecting teams that were fair and well balanced. The regular season 1st place team was the Red Sox, 2nd place went to the Yankees. The Mets, pictured above, won the playoffs in a 4 to 2 win over the Athletics. Great game to the end when the Athletics in the bottom of the last inning had 2 players on base and the winning run at bat at home plate. The Mets were able to hold them off and win the game. Congratulations to the Mets Players, Parents and Coaches.
