Lawrence J. Clinton

Lieut. Laurence J. Clinton, beloved son of Margaret Rix Schnell and the late James S. Clinton (died in action WW II) and dear stepson of Lester J. Schnell, passed away recently in Oakland California. 'Larry' graduated from St. Anne's grade school, Chaminade High School and Boston College. He was awarded a Regents Scholarship from Chaminade. He was commissioned a Second Lieut. in the Navy and served in Vietnam on active duty.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Rix Schnell, his brothers, James S. Clinton, Charles Rix, Christopher Rix, Michael Rix, Terence Rix and Jonathan Rix and sister Kate (Donna) Rix Cannon. Stepbrother Richard T. Schnell, Stepsisters Lisa Schnell Murphy and Nan Schnell Kiyonaga.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Anne's (date to be announced).
