Decorating for Garden City High School's second annual Promapalooza began on Tuesday evening, June 19, just two days before the Senior Prom. Using miles of organza, the decorating committee transformed the High School library and courtyard into a festive garden fantasy land. Students, dates, friends, and family gathered at the High School for pictures and refreshments on Thursday evening before the Senior Prom. Transportation was then provided to the Prom at the Garden City Hotel. Promapalooza is a pre-prom event sponsored by the Garden City Community Council on Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention.
