Winner Of High School Art Competition

Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy congratulates Kathleen Alvey, a student at Garden City High School, for submitting the winning entry in Rep. McCarthy's Annual High School Art competition. Ms. Alvey's work will be on display in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year and she will receive a $7,000 Adelphi University Art Scholarship.
