Cherry Valley Nine-Hole Event A Success

Nine-hole golfers and their guests who attended a "Garden Par-Tee" on June 13 might have thought that the garden was Mr., McGregor's. Gerda Schoffelen and Janet Baker assisted head gardener Maureen Corrigan with the tournament, which was watered but not washed away. Ceramic bunnies favored the spring-themed tables arranged by Willis Priola, and an abundance of fresh veggies accented the luncheon buffet.

In addition to the low-net and low-gross categories, prizes were awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and closest to the line. The winners were pleased to display their Potter-y serving pieces!
