Don't forget to sign up for "Nails by Mrs. Kathy" on Monday July 9 beginning at 9:30 AM. This program on manicuring was a sell out last summer. Mrs. Kathy, a licensed nail technician will teach Young Adults how to manicure, decorate and take care of their nails. Each participant will receive a personal nail kit and will be supervised as they give themselves a manicure. The program is limited to 15 participants at each session. Registration began Tuesday, June 26 for "Where In the World is the YA Department?" In keeping with the mystery theme of the club, this first event planned for the summer is a way for young adults to become familiar with the layout of the department during its renovation. While the library undergoes a facelift in the Young Adult Department, the collection has been relocated. The evening will open with a tour of where the collection has been temporarily moved. It will be followed by a library scavenger hunt. You may sign up as a team or an individual and be grouped by chance. We may have a sorting hat determine teams! The program begins at 7 PM on Tuesday, July 10th. Prizes will be awarded at 8:30PM.

On Monday, July 2 registration will begin for "The Science of Fingerprints". A retired New York City Police Detective who worked as a fingerprint expert will give a hands-on lesson in fingerprinting, fingerprint analysis and identifications. This program will be held on Monday July 16 at 7 PM.
