Student Graduates With Honors

Jared Schroder, son of Michael and Roberta Schroder of Garden City, has graduated from Portledge School of Locust Valley with honors. Jared was inducted into the Cum Laude Society at graduation on June 9. The induction and award were given by David Hoyler, dean of the Upper School. Jared graduated as an Art Scholar and received an award for outstanding public service. Portledge's graduating class of 2007 had 38 students. Jared will be attending Wesleyan University in the fall.
