Students Exhibit Works At Apple Store

Tom Hoey, Tony Pittella, James Ross, Tara Gercke, and Melissa Mazar, several of the students who participated in Apple School Night, with Computer Graphics Teacher Diane Veitch.
Garden City High School students in Diane Veitch's Computer Graphics class recently showcased their work at Apple Store School Night at the Apple store in Roosevelt Field. The students were invited to participate in the showcase in celebration of the creative work they have produced using Macintosh computers. The event gave parents and store patrons the opportunity to see how talent flourishes when students have access to technology and hands-on learning. The students received t-shirts in recognition of their participation. Apple School Night is a worldwide program that provides a community forum and supportive environment for computer graphics students who use Macintosh equipment.
