Garden City Retired Mens Club

The Garden City Retired Men's Club is a non-profit membership organization formed in April 1961 for the purpose of providing educational and recreational activities for the retired male senior citizens of the Garden City community. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political.

All retired men 55 years or older residing in the Incorporated Village of Garden City, in the State of New York, are eligible for membership upon paying a five (5) dollar initiation fee. If you are eligible and interested in joining us, please come by. Every Monday is Open House. Or call Joe Leto 248-9022.

The Club House facility is located at No. 6 Golf Club Lane (directly behind Lord & Taylor parking lot). The building is open every day of the week, except Friday, and offers two regulation size pool tables, television, cards/tables and board games, as well as outdoor bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Our Programs Committee is playing a very active speaker program. Come join us!!!

Atlantic City Trips To Trump Casino

Our last Atlantic City trip will depart Monday June 25 th. We will resume in Mid September. Plan your party in advance and keep in touch with Ed Palkot, 437-0397 to make the necessary arrangements. Non-member residents of Garden City are invited.

exercise Program

Our Tuesday morning exercise program will also take a brief rest during the summer months. We will pick up where we left off on or about September 18 th. There was a marked improvement in the dexterity shown by the participants. As the old favorite song goes "see you in September." Meanwhile, we will keep in touch. Non-member male Garden City residents are invited to join us in the Fall.
