On Saturday June 2nd, the U-14 Garden City Goalbusters hosted the Patchogue Medford Strikers at the Community Park. Fortunately, by the time the match started the temperature had cooled off and there was a steady breeze. The Goalbusters played a great game of possession, connecting on one short pass after another. This tactic allowed the Goalbusters to send the ball into their offensive third, putting constant pressure on the Strikers backline and keeper. With steady ownership of the ball, the Goalbusters frequently and skillfully finished off multiple shots on goal.
