6th Grade Maroon Team Beats Seaford 8-4!

The Garden City Maroon 6th Grade boys lacrosse team beat Seaford 8-4 on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The Maroon team came under fire within the 1st few minutes of the game as they surrendered the 1st goal of the game to Seaford. The midfielders answered the call and quickly changed the pace of the game. The midfielders, Brian Pratt, Jonathan Kramer, Kyle Walsh, Patrick Keogh, Sean Digan and Eddie Blatz dominated on ground balls and kept constant pressure on the Seaford defense. The attack was led by Sean Walsh, Mike Walsh, James Anatra and Corey Fitzpatrick.

As the game settled down goalie Greg Bolte was aided by great defensive play of Scott D'Antonio, Steve Ollquist and Alex Kelly. The Maroon Team looks forward to the return of Kyle Ritchie, Alex Halka, Kevin Byrne, Christian Capozzi and Brian Defliese as they close out their PAL careers against a very tough and undefeated Bellmore team at the PAL Jamboree this Sunday.
