College Notes

Fairfield University, a Jesuit university founded in 1942 in Fairfield, Conn., presented 1,226 degrees at its 57th commencement on Sunday, May 20.

Michelle Vitale, a resident of Garden City and the daughter of Marie and Paul Vitale, was a member of the graduating class.

Michelle graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in finance and a minor in economics at Fairfield University. She was also active as a member of the Student Managed Investment Fund.

A graduate of Garden City High School in 2003, Michelle is starting her career at Morgan Stanley in July.
