Disney Gardens Discussed
Although she is wearing a wizard's hat, Kathryn Stanley Podwall, right, a professor of biology at Nassau Community College, explains that it is not magic which is responsible for "The Glorious Disney Gardens". Rather, it is hard work and planning often carried out when the theme parks are closed to the public. This interesting fact, among others, was part of her slide lecture presented at the library on may 24. She is shown with Barbara Minerd, program coordinator for The Friends of the Library, which funded this program.
