Winthrop 3rd Annual Golf Outing

Third Annual Golf Outing to benefit the Winthrop-University Hospital's Cancer Center for Kids will be held on Monday, June 18th.

The Cancer Center for Kids (CCK) provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options for childhood cancer patients and their families, as well as psychosocial support services to help reduce the anxiety that often accompanies childhood cancer. Children and families at the CCK participate in patient-specific counseling, share in therapeutic play, acquire developmentally appropriate information about treatments and establish supportive relationships.

The golf tournament raises money to help support these vital services, many of which non-reimbursable.

Golf Outing Location: The Hamlet Wind Watch Golf and Country Club, 1715 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY.

The schedule is as follows: 11:30 a.m. - Tee Off Brunch; 1:30 p.m. - Shotgun Start; 6:30 p.m. - Buffet Dinner, Awards and Raffles
