American Legion Announces Scholarship Winner

American Legion Post 265 of Garden City has awarded their annual Sutliff Memorial Scholarship to Stephanie Taliana of Garden City High School. The scholarship provides full tuition to Hofstra University for two years.

Taliana was selected based upon her academic record and extracurricular activities. She is planning a double major in marketing and photography. She works part-time at a restaurant in Garden City and serves as an altar server on Sundays in her local parish.
