Waldorf Seniors To Perform

The senior class of the Waldorf School of Garden City will perform Night of the Living Beauty Pageant on Thursday, June 7 and Saturday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. in the school's auditorium. Night of the Living Beauty Pageant, written in 1992 by Tim Kelly, is a satirical comedy surrounding the production of a beauty pageant by shady entrepreneurs Joe Allen and Steve Bentley. With the pageant just hours away, the two men must hold off an unpaid landlord, a loan shark and an undercover police officer among others to crown a champion and recover their money.

Founded in 1947, the Waldorf School of Garden City offers classes from early childhood through Grade 12 and is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) and the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).
