Troop 55 Bikes The Lehigh Gorge

The hike to the falls
Boy Scouts from Troop 55 spent a spring day in May biking through Lehigh Gorge in Pennsylvania. The twenty-five mile scenic ride included a hike to a local waterfall and a cave. The boys cycled the entire trail and returned to cook over an open fire at their tent campsite. The next day they visited a boulder field, offering a fun hike over thousands of rocks left by a glacier long ago. The twenty five-mile bike trip is part of the Cycling badge, which also includes a 50-mile trip yet to be conquered by these energetic scouts.
