Builder Supports Historical Society Flea Market
Vinny Muldoon knows an architectural gem when he sees one. He recently stopped by The Garden City Historical Society Museum to view the interior restoration work and to show his support for the Society's upcoming Flea Market, this Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In business in Garden City since 1994, Muldoon is the owner of Old World Quality Corp., which restores and remodels homes, and Galway Development, which purchases Colonial and newer age (1950s+) properties and restores them as more traditional homes in keeping with the character of their historic "neighbors." A Garden City resident for the past 10 years, Muldoon's philosophy is: "Anything I can do to save some decent architecture in Garden City." He prides himself and his companies on "consistent quality and service, doing the right thing for the town, and keeping the architecture of homes appropriate for the street where they are located." Vinny Muldoon has graciously offered to advise the Society on the continuation of interior and exterior renovations at its Museum, 109 Eleventh Street, the site of the June 2 Flea Market.
