Fifth Pineapple Ball Gala A Dazzling Success

On the evening of Friday, April 20, in a packed ballroom at the Garden City Hotel, the Garden City Chambers of Commerce celebrated its Fifth Annual Pineapple Ball. The gala, acknowledged as Garden City's quintessential event, focused on "the spirit of goodwill, friendship and good business." The grand ballroom was filled with more than 300 Chamber members and guests who came to honor three extraordinary and distinguished individuals: Robert J. Rothschild, Citizne of the Year; Rogert Salvatico, Community Achievement Award recipient; and Stephanie Healy Cullum, Business Person of the Year. Also recognized was Brian Johnson, a Garden City High School senior who received the Excellence in Business Education Scholarship awrd from the Chamber's charitable foundation.
