GC Patriettes Take On Oceanside

The Garden City Patriettes played the Oceanside Wave last Saturday at home. Despite being down 2-0 at the half, the Patriettes rallied back and scored two early in the second half. A penalty shot late in the fourth quarter halted the Patriettes' run and the Patriettes were defeated 4-2. Although the game was lost, the girls played with great determination, consistent teamwork and good sportsmanship. The next game is June 2nd against the Floral Park Fusion at Floral Park.
