The Garden City Power U-10 girl's soccer team faced a skilledLevittownsoccer club on Saturday. Playing in a cold drizzle, the Power came out hard againstLevittown. The crowd enjoyed end-to-end action as the ball was moved aggressively by both sides. The Power was forced to use their dribbling and passing skills to by pass theLevittowndefenders. Garden City followed through with their plays and earned two goals in the first half. The Power goalie did an excellent job of protecting the net, allowing only a single goal. In the second half,Levittownworked hard to maintain control of the ball in Garden City's end but the Power defense forcefully protected their lead, with the Power goalie making a breathtaking save on a free kick. Garden City was rewarded with a third goal late in the second half to clinch the victory with a 3-1 win.
