The Garden City boys varsity lacrosse team began the first round of the Nassau Class B playoffs with a convincing 16-3 victory over Jericho on Friday, May 18th. Dan Savage scored four goals for the Trojans and Dean Gibbons had two goals and five assists. Terry Kennedy had two goals and one assist as the Trojans advanced to the next round. John Betts, Dillon Dwyer and Jon Muscarella scored two goals each while Steve Hucke and Ryan Lynch each scored once. Goalies Brian McCullough and Peter Costello combined for 13 saves.
