The Garden City girls varsity lacrosse team began the Nassau Class B playoffs with an 18-3 victory over Rockville Centre's South Side High School on Saturday May 19th at GCHS. Leading the Trojans scoring were Erin Brennan and Shannon Mangini with three goals each. Liz Adamo (two assists), Becky Lynch, Elise Terracciano and Lauren Terracciano each had two goals. Rounding out the Trojans scoring with one goal each were Katie DAntonio, Dayna Defliese, Amanda Keller and Brittany Wilton. Goalkeepers Emma Quailer and Allison Kleshefsky combined for eight saves. South Side finishes it's season with a 6-5 record as Garden City (15-1) continues it's quest for another Long Island Championship.
