John Capitani

The Liberty Lacrosse League announced that John Capitani of Garden City has been named 2007 Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Year. Capitani stepped into the starting goaltender position for the Thoroughbreds in his rookie year and made an immediate impact. He ranks second among all Liberty League netminders in save percentage, third in saves per game, and fourth in goals-against average. A three-time selection as Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Capitani helped Skidmore to a 5-1 mark in Liberty League play.
