The Garden City Power U-10 girls soccer team played Plainview/Old Bethpage in last Saturday's match-up. The Power put forth a gallant effort against Plainview, with their offense moving the ball into the opponent's end and continuously pressuring the Plainview goalie. Despite strong attempts the Power team was unable to convert some aggressive plays into scores. Power's strong goal tending and defense denied the Plainview team any goals. Working hard in the heat and humidity, the Power came away with a 0-0 tie score.
