U-10 Warriors Keep On Rockin'
 | | Gerard Smith is outstanding in goal and has not let up a goal in the past 3 games!

The boys U-10 Warriors keep on rockin' as they scored 4 more goals in a 4-2 victory in Levittown on Saturday, May 12th, extending their winning record to 4-and-1 on the season.
Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork! Once again, the 4 Warrior goals were scored by 4 different players, with major assists on 3 of those goals. Did I mention these Warriors play with outstanding teamwork . . .!?
Effective and reliable play by the Defense, especially in the "Levittown-scoreless" 2nd half: Matt Flynn, Matt Greiner, Chris Larkin, James Walsh. Great job, "D"! Outstanding and unrelenting attack by the Offense: Timmy Foxen, Kyle Brattan, John Simmons, Jonathan Granville, Brogan Mahon, Gerard Smith, Owen Fisher.
Goal 1 scored by Timmy Foxen, assisted by Kyle Brattan and Gerard Smith. Goal 2 scored by James Walsh, unassisted, with a huge boot from almost mid-field! Wow! Goal 3 scored by Brogan Mahon, assisted by Owen Fisher. Goal 4 scored by Jonathan Granville on a John Simmons shot on goal that was dropped by the goalie; Granville knew to always follow up a teammate's shot, just in case . . .!
 | | Timmy Foxen and Kyle Brattan volley down the field with well-aimed passing; Foxen puts this one in for a goal.

Special commendation goes to Gerard Smith, the 2nd half goal keeper, who made many great saves to render Levittown scoreless in the 2nd half. Gerard doesn't want to be "pigeon-holed" as solely a goal-keeper at 10 years of age, but, man, is he good!! The team really appreciates him tending the goal for one-half of every game!
Thanks, Coach Brian Wipperman, for your hard work and dedication! Watch the Warriors in action tomorrow, May 19th at Nassau Haven at 11:10.
 | | Brogan Mahon and Matt Flynn say, "Oh, yeah!", as Chris Larkin saves a goal and punts downfield.
 | | James Walsh got an opportunity to send it to the goal from alost mid-field . . . Yep, it went in! Great shot, James!
 | | John Simmons uses fancy footwork to get around this defender and is ready to pass to Jonathan Granville.
 | | Matt Greiner wedges his foot between the ball and his opponent's foot for a blatant ball-steal!
