Writing Contest Winners

Lauren Sanataly and Kapish Singla of New Hyde Park were the first and second place winners of the Garden City Irish Cultural Society writing contest. The theme for the contest was to write an interior monologue of a World War 1 Irish Soldier. Their pieces were chosen from 370 entries submitted to the contest. This is an outstanding achievement!
