Troop 55 At The New York Maritime College

Troop 55 attended the New York Maritime Eagle Scout Fraternity Invitational Camporee the weekend of March 23 - 25, 2007. The Scouts spent the weekend sleeping on the Empire State VI training ship and were well fed on the mess deck. The Scouts learned knot tying and navigation skills, skippered the Commodore Alexanderson launch, tried their hand at navigating New York Harbor in the ship simulator and enjoyed a "Torchlight Tour" of Fort Schuyler. The Troop was hosted by Cadet Steven Rudolph, a recent Eagle Scout recipient from Troop 55. Troop 55 is sponsored by The Cathedral of the Incarnation.
