Rep. McCarthy Receives Woman Of The Year Award

Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, pictured withProfessor Ali al-Rahman, Ph.D. and Deborah Dombrowski, Vice President of the Women's Criminal Justice Association,was given the Woman of the Year Award by the Women's Criminal Justice Association of Nassau County Community College. Rep. McCarthy is the first female Member of Congress from Long Island and has remained dedicated to advancing women's rights since being elected in 1996.
