Lord & Taylor To Host "Chamber After Hours"

On Wednesday evening, May 23, 6-8 p.m., Lord & Taylor will host and sponsor one of the Chamber's traditional "After Hours Networking" events in Lord & Taylor's elegant Signature Cafe. "However, the event, touted as 'A Summer Fashion Adventure,' will be anything but traditional with 14 Chamber directors and members modeling Lord & Taylor's 2007 summer fashions. It will be fun - if not hilarious to view the fashions donned by the Chamber's 'VIP 'runway stars' as they sport the latest summer styles," promised Althea Robinson, Chamber executive director, who said one of the show-stoppers should be Rich, Jing and baby Ryan Deremer.

Of course there'll be plenty of time for networking and business card exchange, and in addition to providing refreshments, Lord & Taylor plans special offers and surprises for all. Wine will be through the courtesy of Wingate Inn, Garden City.

"While this is a networking event, we hope to see a lot of our residents turn out for the fun and camaraderie. Since the store is open until 9:30, there'll also be plenty of coupon shopping time following the event," reminded Althea Robinson. Space is limited, so advance reservations are required at $22 per person ($27 for non-members), due by Friday, May 18.
