The U-11 Blazers began their regular season on March 31st with a convincing 6-2 victory over Mineola United. Then on April 21st, after a three week hiatus, they traveled to Plainedge to face the Plainedge United. That game was a bit closer, but the Blazers still came away with a 2-1 win. Continuing their unbeaten streak, the team played to a 3-1 victory over Plainview/Old Bethpage on Saturday, April 28th.

The offense has been making life difficult for their opponents. With their great passing and strong kicks on goal they have combined for eleven goals in just three games. Splitting the offensive positions have been Reed Bonvissuto, Joseph Giarraputo, Justin Gong, Chris Hourmouzis, Zach Miner, Patrick Mohan, Drew Pascale, Chris Stumpf and Brian Tully.

Anytime an opponent threatens, the defense has been there to thwart many scoring attempts. This strong defense consists of Jonathan Castoro, Adam Davies, Brendan Harney and Aidan Logan. Goaltending duties have been split between Patrick Mohan and Adam Davies.

Together, with the defense, they have only allowed four goals since the regular season started.

With a game at home against Floral Park tomorrow, Saturday May 4th, the boys are looking forward to trying to keep their undefeated streak alive.
