Nursery School Visits Fire Department

Mrs. Pastore and Noonan's 3-4 year old class from Cathedral Nursery School went on one of their first field trips to the Garden City Fire Department on Wednesday, April 25. They began their visit with a tour of the firehouse and watched an Elmo video about fire safety. Fireman Tom, showed them his firefighting gear and told them not to be afraid if they are in a situation where a firefighter might come to their home. They also had a chance to sit in the cab of the fire truck and got to spray the fire hose. They were so excited! Many thanks to the Garden City Fire Department for a great trip!
