11th Annual SEPTA Street Fair Tonight

The 11th Annual Garden City Special Education P.T.A. (S.E.P.T.A) Street Fair will be held this evening on Seventh Street from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Spring Fair is a fun-filled family event. A variety of school musical groups will entertain you throughout the day, as will your D.J. and Master of Ceremonies Larry Blass. Activities include the dunk tank, the ever-popular moon bounces and obstacle courses, face painting, carnival games, and T-shirt making. There also will be a balloon artist, clowns, photo booths, a mini horse carousel, a dance revolution, and much more.

The Spring Fair is an opportunity to enjoy shopping in your favorite stores and sampling delicious foods from the local eateries. This is a wonderful chance for residents and the business community to come together for a good cause.

We thank the many businesses and residents that have already contributed to our only fundraiser for this school year. It is not too late to make a donation. Just make your check payable to GC S.E.P.T.A. and mail to GC S.E.P.T.A. at 56 Cathedral Avenue, Garden City 11530. If you would like to volunteer, please call Meg Nix at 248-7822.
