Boys Varsity Lacrosse

The GCHS boys varsity lacrosse team extended it's Conference II record to 6-0 after consecutive victories over Carey and Bellmore JFK.

On April 17th, against Carey, Dean Gibbons and Dillon Dwyer led the Trojans scoring with three goals each. Gibbons also had five assists in the game. Tim Harder, Dan Savage and Brendan Carroll each scored twice.

Francis McDonough rounded out the scoring with one goal, bringing the final score to 13-4. Brian McCullough made 11 saves in goal.

Two days later Bellmore JFK experienced the scoring power of the Trojans as six different Garden City players (Dean Gibbons, Tim Harder, Brendan Carroll, Dillon Dwyer, Joe Alleva and Jon Muscarella) were able to score one goal each and two players (Dan Savage and Francis McDonough) scored four goals a piece bringing the final score to 14-4.
