Boys 4th Grade Maroon Team Wins 7-4!

The Garden City 4th grade boys Maroon team defeated Point Lookout last week 7-4. The smart aggressive play without too many penalties and the differential in ground balls (GC 30-PL 9) was the difference in the game. Garden City was anchored in goal by Matt Flynn and Thomas Wright. Defesively Carson Bauer, Alex Wood, Chris Moscatiello and Brendan Digan made sure that the Pt. Lookout attack was limited in their scoring opportunities. The Maroon team middies controlled the pace of the game, led by Patrick Gibbons, Brian Colamussi, Jack Tigh, Brogan Mahon and Will Glenn. The middies did a tremendous job of feeding the ball to the attack. Garden City scored 7 times against a very tough Pt. Lookout defense. The attack was led by Kieran McGoldrick, Michael Crapotta, Ryan McCartney and Thomas Mulligan.

The Maroon team faces off against Manhasset on Sunday, 4/29 at Manhasset and the team looks forward to the return of Evan Nagel and Brian Shannon.
