Cathedral Offers Vacation Bible School

The Cathedral of the Incarnation is offering its annual Vacation Bible School to be held Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th. This five day experience of re-living Bible time's events, occupations and relationships will acquaint children with their Christian heritage.

The children will walk into the world of 29 A.D. and will live in a small family clusters where the children will learn about life in Bible times. Many wonderful hands on activities are planned for each day. The experiences of daily living without modern conveniences is a challenge the participants enjoy meeting.

The school will take place on the Cathedral grounds on the campus of the Mercer School of Theology. The campus provides a source of shelter in case of inclement weather. The Vacation Bible School is open to children ages 4 to 9. Each day's session is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program is under the supervision of Mrs. Jane Tamke who holds an M.S. in Education.

A most attractive feature of the Vacation Bible School is the nominal tuition of just $50 for one child, $45 for the second child in a family and a $125 maximum per family.
