GC Basketball - Coach of the Year Awards

If you didn't receive your certificate of appreciation/accomplishment from the JrNBA/JrWNBA and/or medal for participating in Garden City Basketball, please let us know. If your coach doesn't have your certificate, we will produce another. Every boy and girl 6th grade and under is also awarded a Garden City Basketball MEDAL!

A special congratulations to our JrNBA/JrWNBA nominees from Garden City Basketball for "Coach of the Year"; Joseph Amato, Jim Bais, and Mary Freese. Each of these coaches focused on instruction, development, fun, and team work. These coaches received numerous compliments during the season from players as well as parents. The JrNBA is reviewing submissions from across the country and regional recognition winners will be announced in the coming month. From our standpoint, these volunteers are already winners!

A big THANK YOU to everyone that participated in our program. The Garden City Basketball program was better than we could have ever imagined. With over 550 participants in our first season and a focus on fun, this has built the foundation for a bright future. We hope that you and your children enjoyed the season as well and will be back in the fall. It is never too early to signup. Online Registration for the 2007/2008 season is open if you would like to signup now.

If anyone is interested in summer league play, please give us a call. Summer teams are normally formed by mid-April and games take place weeknights.
