GC Students Exhibit At All-County Art Exhibition

Twelve of the students scheduled to exhibit their work at the All-County Art Exhibit at C.W. Post on Saturday April 28 with Garden City School Superintendent Robert Feirsen, Ed.D, (back row, left) and School Board President Kenneth J. Monaghan. The students scheduled to exhibit are: from the High School Danielle Mongelli, Devon Schay, Emily Sciortino, Alexandra Escalante, Sara Mikulas, Maggie Tittler, K.C. Alvey, Kristen Follo, Robert McMahon, Chrissy Tanillo, Victoria Chimento, and Kevin O'Brien; from the Middle School Joyce Chang, Gloria Dimino, Alexandra Vernice, Dana Famiglietti, William Heuser, and Michael Nguyen; from the elementary schools Michele White, Iris Chang, Meaghan Mulhall, and Brooke Warhurst; from the primary schools Matthew DeSimpliciis, Maggie Digan, Matthew McGovern.
Twenty five young artists from the Garden City School District have been invited to display samples of their two-dimensional artwork at this year's annual All-County Art Exhibit sponsored by the Art Supervisors Association. Students representing the high school, middle school, elementary school, and primary school levels will participate.

The exhibit honors the most talented young visual artists in Nassau County and offers students, their families, and the general public the opportunity to view the accomplishments of a diverse group of young artists. Participating students receive an award certificate noting their outstanding achievement.

The exhibition will be held Saturday, April 28, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Tilles Center for the Arts on the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville.
