May The Mail Be With You

This summer will mark the 30th anniversary of the release of the hugely successful Star Wars film. In honor of this event, the United States Postal Service has converted 400 mailboxes across the country into R2D2 look-alikes. The one pictured above is located on Seventh Street in Garden City. A Star Wars stamp is due out later this Spring. However, there is no plan for the mail to be delivered by Jedi Knights.
