Dr. Georgiana Abisordum Johnson Speaker

Women for Women of Sierra Leone
This Sunday, April 15 at 9:15 a.m., Dr. Georgiana Abisordum Johnson will address the Adult Forum at the Garden City Community Church about the "Sierra Leone Crises & What We Can Do About It?" Dr. Johnson will talk on the many ways that the Women for Women of Sierra Leone is doing to help the people build schools, medical centers, teach agricultural education and sanitation awareness. Sierra Leone has the highest infant mortality rate in the world.

Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa. She was educated in Zambia, England and the US. She holds a diploma in B. S. Management, Paralegal, a Masters in Divinity from the NY Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Theology from the International Theological Seminary in California.

The Community is invited to attend the forum in the church parlor. Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship Services are on Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
