My Best Friend will host a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta for FA on May 5th from 7 to 10 p.m. Auction to benefit the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund. Over 50 media personalities,restaurateurs, designers, winery owner, spirits company, florists, boat captain, sports stars, artists, neighbors, celebrities and best friends have contributed to making the auctions the best that could possibly be offered to you.

Highlights of the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta for FA Live Auction includes being immortalized as a character in a Nelson DeMille novel. Mr. DeMille's first major novel was By the Rivers of Babylon published in 1978 and is still in print, as are all his succeeding novels. In his latest best-seller, Wild Fire, ex-NHPD (and now working with the FBI) Detective John Corey is joined by his wife, FBI agent Kate Mayfield to unravel a diabolical plot "that starts with the Custer Hill Club and ends with American cities locked in the crosshairs of a nuclear device." DeMille is currently working on his next novel, which is a sequal to The Gold Coast, his personal favorite of all his novels.

A longtime resident of Garden City, Nelson DeMille uses a pencil to hand write his novels.

Kevin Connolly, star of HBO's hit TV series Entourage invites two winning bidders to celebrate the season premiere and after-party as his guests. Connolly, a native of Long Island's South Shore, started his acting career at age 6 when he made his film debut in Rocky V. He has over 75 commercials on his resume, many major film credits and has both starred in and directed six episodes of TV's "Unhappily Ever After."

Fans of HBO's Entourage, are presently enjoying the conclusion of the 3rd season (the continuation of where the show left off last August). Connolly plays the part of Eric Murphy, or "E', the manager and best friend of an up and coming Hollywood celebrity who lives "the good life' with his best friends.

"Garden of Eden" which was directed by Mr. Connolly with his friend, Leonardo Di Caprio's production vehicle, Appian Way, will premiere on April 26th and run through May 4th at New York City's Tribeca Film Festival.
