Easter Car Parade This Sunday

The Easter Bunny, Kinsgly Bear and Mrs. Bunny will be at the parade

The 52nd Annual Easter Sunday Vintage Car Parade will step off this Sunday at 1 p.m. from Tenth Street on Franklin Avenue heading south, then west on Seventh Street where it will disperse at Hilton Avenue.

Led by Parade Grand Marshal Jack Morrison, the Kiwanis Easter Bunnies and a long line of spectacular antique and classic cars, many exciting activities have been added to this year's event. Spectators are invited to view the cars as they line up in parking field 9E between Ninth and Eleventh Streets between 10 a.m. and parade time. Adding to the fun will be the Town of Hempstead's Showmobile stage, musical MC Bert Donley, the renowned Banjo Rasscals, wandering Easter Bunnies with lollipops (also on Seventh Street during the parade), and more. Kings Supermarket will provide a hotdog stand and various Chamber members and representatives of the automotive industry will be showcasing their products and services.
