Free Plastic Surgery Seminars Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (LIPSG), the largest and longest continuously running plastic surgical group in the U.S. has begun a monthly educational seminar series that's free to the public. Upcoming presentations will be held Wednesday April 25th and Wednesday, May 23rd. All of the doctors at LIPSG are Board Certified Plastic Surgeons, specializing in reconstructive, cosmetic and microsurgery. They perform life-altering operations and educate other doctors on the latest techniques and procedures. On Wednesday, April 25th, senior LIPSG partner, Dr. Leland Deane, will give a presentation entitled: "Baby Boomers Turn Back the Clock, Body contouring and facial rejuvenation options." Dr. Deane specializes in body contouring after pregnancy and weight loss. The talk will focus on the many options that are available to men and women to counteract the signs of aging. On Wednesday, May 23, senior partner, Dr. Barry Douglas presents: "Art and Aesthetic Procedures, How the perception of beauty has changed through the ages." Dr. Douglas studied studio art for his undergraduate degree and is an accomplished artist. His presentation will include a history of art and discussion of cosmetic surgery options.
