Peter Stanganelli Helps Build Church Garden City Schools Band Director Peter Stanganelli will be performing an exciting concert with his six piece band Rapture on Sunday, April 29th at 7pm at Sacred Heart Auditorium in North Merrick. Peter has been a Band Director in Garden City Schools for 26 years at both the High School and Stewart School. Peter has been performing his original Christian music regularly on Telecare television with Father Tom Hartman and Father Jim Vlaun. All the proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Sacred Heart Building Campaign to help with the building of their new church. Peter and his band Rapture have been performing concerts at churches and concert halls all over the Tri-State area since 1985. The band has produced two compact discs. Peter's inspirational song " Do It Up America" has been played many times on Long Island radio stations including KJOY, WBAB and others. Peter will be releasing his 3rd compact disc this fall. His compact discs are available at stores on Long Island as well as his website www.christmusic.us Rapture concerts are always a lot of fun. Audience participation is encouraged. Peter and his band play songs from their compact discs as well as popular Christian rock standards such as "Put Your Hand in The Hand", "God Bless America", a new updated version of "Amazing Grace" and even Celine Dion's "That's The Way It Is". Peter has been performing Christian concerts throughout the tri-state area since 1985 when he founded the Christian Music Ministry of America.
