Between March 26 and 27, someone took a Sirius satellite radio valued at $50 from a car parked on Brook St. and assorted change from a car parked on Poplar Street... Between March 23 and 26, a door lock was broken at a Franklin Ave. office and $78 in US stamps was taken and $20 in U.S... Two Dell lap tops valued at $3,000 were stolen from a Franklin Ave. office between March 26 and 27... Two tires valued at $225 were found slashed on a car parked at a Transverse Rd. residence between February 9 and 10... Someone threw a brick and broke a window valued at $75 at St. Joseph School, Franklin Ave., between March 26 and 27... Between March 23 and 24, an IBM lap top valued at $3,000, was stolen from an office on Franklin Ave. The door there was found damaged... Someone took a credit card from a desk at a GC Plaza office on March 21... Unknown persons broke into a car on Lindbergh St, on March 23, and took an HP laptop valued at $1100. The car's molding was damaged at $100... PO Tuohy arrested a 37-year-old Oceanside woman for allegedly stealing over $1300 in assorted merchandise at Lord and Taylor, on March 22. The woman also evidently allegedly concealed items, mostly children's wear and Coach bags, with her baby in the baby's stroller. She was charged with grand larceny, possession of burglar tools (pliers), and for endangering the welfare of a child... PO Wehr arrested a 19-year-old Freeport man for allegedly speeding at 45 in a 30, the failure to stay in a lane and for alleged DWI( .10%) at Franklin Ave. on March 24... PO Florio arrested a 27-year-old Merrick man for alleged DWI (.16%), after the motorist was observed driving without front tires at Warton Place near Arthur St. on March 25... A 40-year-old Jamaica man allegedly took a pair of Armani sunglasses and a pair of Ray ban sunglasses at Lord and Taylor on March 24... A truck stop with the DOT at scene was conducted at Clinton Rd. on March 22. 16 trucks were taken out of service, with 122 tickets issued, 8 trucks taken out of service, and 17 overweight violations... Over $30,000 was taken from a Kensington Rd. house between March 17 and 20... POs Wedra, Jacobsen and Braun, arrested a 21-year-old GC woman and her 28-year-old GC boyfriend, for an incident where the woman had allegedly punched her mom while the pair demanded money, on March 25. In addition, the pair was found at a Floral Park residence in a stolen car (from NYC). They were arrested for the unauthorized use of an auto and for robbery second degree...
