Supreme Court Justice Honored

Theodore Roosevelt Inn of Court Board Director and Garden City resident, Andrew M. Thaler, greeted United States Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito at the Inn's annual dinner this past fall. Justice Alito was honored and presented the keynote presentation at the dinner, which was held at the Nassau County Bar Association.

The Inn is a local chapter of the American Inns of Court, a nationwide mentoring organization rooted in the 800-year-old tradition of the English Inns of court. The Inns' mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills for judges, lawyers, academicians and students of law in order to perfect the quality, availability and efficiency of justice in the United States.
