GCAA Intramural Basketball Wrap-Up

GCAA Intramural basketball has now ended. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this a great season for GCAA basketball.

We made a lot of strides, especially at the very young level.

K's

A big thanks to Doug O'connor, Joe Scattareggia and all the other volunteers who led our K's to a level few expected to see. Well done!! State Champions in 2018?

1st graders

A big thanks to John Gallagher, Dan Dignam, Brendan Wooten and all the others for their endless work with the 1st graders! Outstanding!

We finished with a full court, 5 v 5 game on ten foot baskets. The parents who saw it know the incredible potential in this class of hoopsters!

2nd Graders

A big thanks to John Feyrer and Scott Paskewitz who led our 2nd graders away from 'line drills' and into full court games. This class will be feared on the courts in years to come. What players!!

3rd Boys

Thanks to coordinators Joe Leighton and Charlie Riceman and congrats to the Bulls who slipped by the Pacers by 2 points to win the title.

4th Boys

Thanks to coordinators Tom Granville and John Lori and congrats to the Lakers who nipped the Bulls 28-20 to win the championship.

5th-6th Boys

Thanks to coordinators Tom Granville and Ryan Kelly and congrats to the Lakers who upended the Knicks 30-27 to win the title.

Girls 5th - 8th

Thanks to coordinator Dan Dignam and congrats to the Mystics who outlasted the Monarchs to snare 1st.

Girls 3rd - 4th

Thanks to coordinators Tom Bruno and Greg Raphael and although games were cancelled due to the storm last week, games will be played this week and a champion crowned on Friday nite!
