Student Showcase Scheduled

The Garden City Friends of Music has scheduled its popular Student Showcase on Sunday, April 15, in the Garden City Community Church parlor from 2 to 4 p.m. All Garden City students in K-12 are invited to perform. Soloists, duets and trios are welcome.

Get a few musically inclined friends together and have a little fun. Or, for those of you who would like to brush up on you upcoming NYSMA pieces, this is the perfect venue to rehearse them in front of an audience.

All abilities are welcome. The performance is free to the community and light refreshments will be served.

Performers are required to pre-register with the title of their musical selection and the composer. As always, this Garden City Friends of Music event is a crowd pleaser and fills up quickly. Due to space and time limitations, we cannot accommodate large ensembles and rock groups. For further information and registration, please call Elizabeth Colantonio at 248-8525.
