His lecture will be held in the new Senior Center in the St. Paul's Cottages. Participants will make their own arrangement as they are led by a representative from A.C. Moore crafts store. The cost of this workshop will be $5.00. For further information, please call 465-4075. jewelry making workshop There will be a Jewelry Making Workshop on Tuesday, April 17 th at 1 p.m. in the Senior Center at St. Paul's Linda Redina will lead this demonstration as you learn how to create your own professional style bracelet using genuine gemstones. Participants will be asked for $6 to cover the cost of the supplies needed to complete a bracelet. Pre-registration is necessary and class size is limited. Paul's The Garden City Recreation Department has invited our favorite computer people, Sharper Training Solutions, to give a workshop on "All About Ebay" on Tuesday, March 20 th in the New Center at St. Paul's. Class time will be 10 a.m. to noon. In this lectue and demonstration workshop, you'll learn how to use eBay, the world's most popular online auction website, to buy and sell items. Some of the topics covered are creating a username and password, maneuvering through the site, finding what you're looking for and posting things to sell, checking reliability of sellers and buyers, recourses available to insure transactions, and much more. This class is free to any senior resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City. However, space is limited and pre-registration is necessary. Step back into time where you can experience 19 th Century living through crafts and trades and the people who bring them to life. You will travel by coach bus to Mystic and have plenty of time to explore the Seaport. Lunch is on your own at the Seaport. The cost of this trip will be $53. Space is limited so please register early. tour of the culinary institute and lunch Please join the Recreation Department on a trip with Prime Time Travel to the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park on Tuesday, June 12 th. Participants will have a delicious full course luncheon at the "Caterina de Medici" and then tour this exciting school for some of the best chefs in the country. We will travel by coach bus to the Institute. The cost of this trip will be $83. Space is limited so please register early. broadhollow theatre's "Crossing delancey" The Recreation Department is sponsoring a trip Wednesday, March 28 th to Broadhollow Theatre's Prodcution of "Crossing Delancey", a romantic comedy. This 2 pm performance will take place at Elmont Library's new theater. The Recreation bus will leave the new Senior Center in the Cottages at St. Paul's at 1 pm and will return all participants to the Center after the performance. The cost of this trip will be $20.00.
